South Park Hooters Casino and Restaurant opens
The new Hooters Casino and Restaurant in South Park opens its doors Thursday, Sept. 24.
Wednesday featured a ceremonial opening for the press and a dry run for the employees. Guests sat outside the entrance in folding chairs and were treated to two musicians singing and playing grand pianos while Hooters employees entertained the crowd with smiles and cheers.
Speeches were made by Ed Pilarz, president of Altium Development, parent company of the local Hooters franchises, Kim Best, Hooters South Park general manager, and Robert Nunnenkamp, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation representative . A portion of Hooters proceeds will be donated to that organization.
"This area needs something like this - fun and vibrant," said Karina Calderon, a "Hooters Girl" and White Center resident. Prior to this position, she worked in a daycare at Holy Family Catholic School on Roxbury.
According to its press release, Hooters is still hiring.
Hooters is located at 9635 Des Moines Memorial Blvd. at Southwest 96th Street and Highway 99. For more information, (206) 762-4000.
Another new Hooters is scheduled to open in Renton.

HOOTERS - South Park
Don't bother going to the NEW Seattle South Park HOOTERS during your lunch hour unless you have a 2 - 3 hour lunch period. I call the 206-762-4000 number to place a take out order and after calling this number 15 times in 30 minutes, the receptionist kept transfering me to a number that did not exist. I finally drove down the street to see if I can place a QUICK order (20 PC WING).
I got there at 1130AM, the waitress instructed me to go to the bar to place the order. Approx 1215PM I got up off my stool and left with no WINGS.
IT DOES NOT TAKE A BRAIN SCIENTIST TO FRY WINGS!!!!!
You are so right...
This place sucks! Avoid it!
What did you expect from a
What did you expect from a Hooters? They have bad food overpriced beer. Nothing new. As for the girls, it is what it is.
Hooters
I understand that Hooters of South Park is new but give it a break. They only opened 3 days ago and 90% of those employees (Hooters Girls & Cooks) are are brand spankin new to serving and Hooters. So they're not McCormick & Schmick's or Maggiano's..... ITS HOOTERS! You want cold beer and hot women.... go there.
You wanna cry about it, believe me there's other guys that'll be more than willing to go.
In short.... don't bash something that's just getting up on it's feet. Give it some time and try it again. I had a blast when I went and I think I might go back today. :)
Hiring
I called inquiring about a surveillance observor position. I was told over the phone that they were still taking applications and to come by and fill one out. I drove up from Puyallup and when I got there I was informed by the blonde bimbo with puffed out boobs that they only take applications Monday thru Thursday. I told her I should of been told that before driving all the way up there. I then told her I was there for an application to take and she said they have none.
What a friggin bs waste. What you get at Hooter's is dumb bimbo's with puffed out boobs, and badly run management!!!!.
HOOTERS South Park Managers
Hooters is a 'Professional Establishment', come opening day they should be ready to 'ROCK N ROLL' baby.
The H Girls should be trained weeks in advance and all electronic cash registers on the fly.
Some customers waited 15 - 20 minutes just to pay the bill with food in hand for take out (they were standing 6 inches from the cash register).
No blame to the H Girls, but the Managers of the South Park location need to go back to Mcdonalds for training.
Management
Seriously....it is a new location, try it again in a few weeks. When I went the girls were working harder than any waitresses I've seen at any other restaurant lately. Blame the management if someone needs to be blamed for there being no iced tea and no resumes readily available. Blame a busy grand opening and popularity for the slower service.
I love hooters
The new south park Hooters is GREAT!!! It's new and all the girls are new at it!! Mallory the manager came by and said hi to us and made sure we were having a good time! She, as well as all the girls were very pretty and nice. I will come back to this place with friends and family. I had my kids with me and they played and entertain the kids while I was eating. Sorry for the people that have been bad mouthing Hooters. You probaly have never been to a Hooters or open a new place. New places always have there bumps in the start.
Avoid the lunch rush
Had a late lunch there this week and it was fine. Arrived around 2:00 and there was no one at the bar. The bartender told me 11:30 to 1:30 is crowded. But after the lunch rush, you'll get quick food service. My hamburger was ready in ten minutes.
About the prices...burger (no fries), Pepsi plus a tip came out to $16. A bit much for lunch on my paycheck.
cambodian night is a joke
hooter cmon!!!!!!!! cambodian nigt dont fit in for hooter
i when there on satuday night the band was late 2hour.when they got to play is was bad music and sound.
what happen to dj night with some old school music and go go dancer
hooters
all I know is the blackjack tournaments are great. It was my first time and the staff was friendly and professional they helped me out and I won $500 for second place! I will be going back there for sure!!!!
Horrible
The girls here are lack luster the place is literally dirty inside and management is clueless. If you want a good time try joeys in southcenter, better food at a better price, beautiful girls. Avoid the grimmy southpark hooters dump at allcost you would find better food and better looking girls at the mcdonalds across the street.
Hated It
As was said a bit earlier what do you expect from "Hooters" poor fried food overpriced beer and I have seen better ladies at my local family owned cafe......yes the daughter IS hot
Watch your billing as well
Not only was the staff slow when there was nobody in the restaraunt, but they also rip you off. Went in for happy hour on a Friday with low expectations which were fully met. Then the bill came I left with the whole thing costing me $24. Then next day I noticed on my bank statement that I got charged $30 hmm where did that $6 go? I am still waiting for a call back from management which will probably never come and I will have to stop by the place again.
South Park Hooters Casino
OK, that really is a hoot. The novelty will surely wear off. All new restaurants face a deluge in the beginning. Hooters is no different. But the casino is going to be a bigger draw!
