The wall of the banquet room at Angelos Restaurant in Burien was destroyed when a car driven by West Seattle resident Earl Cruzen accidentally drove through it after Cruzen stepped on the gas instead of the brake.

Wrong pedal leads to crash

Earl Cruzen, West Seattle was out for an early dinner at Angelo's Restaurant in downtown Burien Friday night about 5:30 p.m.

As he pulled into an open spot in front of the restaurant he inadvertently hit the gas instead of the brake sending his late model Cadillac through the north wall of the banquet room at the restaurant.

No one was injured in the mishap.

Cruzen was unscathed.

The car was towed to his home.No damage estimate was available.
