SLIDESHOW: A warm night on Alki

With a daytime temperature of 95 degrees and light winds, Alki was the place to be Saturday Aug. 14 as the sun went down. Kayakers paddled there way around the bay, couples took in the beautiful crescent moon as it sank below the horizon, and Salsa dancers were gyrating away around the Alki Statue of LIberty.

That event was hosted by Belltown Dance Studio, Seattle Salsa Meetup, Seattle Singles Meetup, and the catholic miXer meetup.

The Red Bull Wiings team (yes spelled like that!) were out offering free samples of the energy drink at area bars and restaurants.
