Finding Kind, a documentary that explores the effects of meaness within the “girl world” will be shown at Explorer West Middle School Jan. 17 at 7 pm. In this scene girls were asked how many in the room had been "negatively affected by what another girl had said or done"

UPDATE: 'Finding Kind' documentary explores effect of 'mean girls' rescheduled

The Explorer West Parent Community Network invites community members to a screening of “Finding Kind”, a documentary that brings awareness and healing to the effects of meaness within the “girl world”. The film, originally scheduled for Jan. 17 has been rescheduled for March, 14.

This filmmaker’s journey is to share the personal experiences of girls and women, and help find a common ground of kindness and mutual respect. There will be a facilitated discussion afterwards. "Finding Kind" is recommended for students in and above middle school (11 years old and up).
