The winter storm that brought snow and frigid temperatures to the northwest also brought wind and stirred up the waves along the Alki Beach Promenade near the Alki Bathouse.

Splish splash, the Alki promenade is taking a bath, especially by the Alki Bathhouse today as high winds and turbulent waves blow in over the more tranquil thick blanket of snow during this weather-eventful day.

While the weather was predicted to moderate later in the week, the winter storm was out in strength along Seattle's best beach.
