UDPATE: Three arrested after shots fired near Delridge Library
Update for July 19
Southwest Precinct Operations Lt. Pierre Davis provided a few more details on yesterday's shooting in Delridge at a community meeting.
Lt. Davis said the three individuals arrested are part of a group SPD has been "noticing and tracking" recently in the Delridge corridor.
A gun was not found in the aftermath of the shooting (shell casings were), but Lt. Davis said his department is "writing warrants right now," because, "what you have in that area is a few houses that are working in concert with each other ... running from house to house."
While he did not go into specifics on what activity tenants of the problem houses are up to, he mentioned drug and burglary activity as possibilities.

Information from Det. Renee Witt, Seattle Police Department
The Gang Unit responded to a shots fired call of sorts in West Seattle. Today just shortly before noon, officers responded to a call of two males shooting at one another in an alley in the 5600 block of 23rd Av SW. Officers arrived on scene and contacted a “victim” who was uncooperative. The “victim” and suspect(s) are young adults who are acquaintances.
An independent witness told officers that 4-5 people (3 males and 2 females) were in the alley arguing when shots rang out. After the shooting, all participants retreated into a nearby apartment. Officers contacted and arrested 3 of the 5 people involved (males) without incident. There were no reported injuries or property damage. Officers did not locate a gun at the scene. However, shell casings were located.
The 3 subjects were transported to the South West Precinct for further investigation. Their dispositions were unknown at the time of this posting. The Gang Unit is investigating.
