One by one, the cases of booze were taken away from the bar and packed into a truck by King County Sheriff’s Office deputies.

It was the morning of Sept. 26 and KCSO, in conjunction with Washington Liquor Control Board agents, were serving a search warrant on Puerto Vallarta Restaurant in the West Seattle Junction.

The owner of this longtime Junction staple was arrested in the raid, jailed overnight and released on Sept. 27.

A KCSO spokesperson said the owner allegedly purchased stolen alcohol to resell in his bar.

No charges have been filed by the King County Prosecutor’s office at this time.
