Another meeting is set for Dec. 12 regarding the controversial apartment development proposed with zero parking for 6917 California Ave. S.W.

Another meeting is set for the 'No Parking Proposed' apartments at 6917 California Ave. S.W.

If you want to raise the hackles of a West Seattle resident these days just bring up traffic, transit or most of all it seems development going forward with very little or even zero parking planned. The project at 6917 California Ave. S.W., a 30 unit apartment building with "no parking proposed" has been the subject of one community meeting already, and the policy regarding parking was explained by the Seattle City Council.

Now the Morgan Community Association has confirmed another meeting is set. Rob Armstrong with “Concerned Morgan Junction Neighbors" and the Morgan Community Association (MoCA), a grass-roots West Seattle neighborhood association, confirmed that a meeting with Morgan Junction Developer Mark Knoll will be held on Thursday December 12, 2013 at the High Point Neighborhood House, 6700 SW Sylvan Way. The meeting will begin at 6:30PM and is open to the public. Knoll’s apartment proposal at 6917 California Ave SW has been a topic of discussion in Morgan Junction.
