Alki Beach Academy will open Dec. 27

Alki Beach Academy, (ABA) an infant through youngster daycare and learning institution will open Dec. 27 with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a special performance by Caspar Babypants.

The ABA is owned by Julieann Crisostomo Donohue, Executive Director, whose background includes graduating from the Albers School of Business/Seattle University with a Business Administration Degree: focus on Marketing.

She's had a successful 25 year career in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech Industry managing and has marketed medical products. She previously successfully created and launched two family businesses. Donohue said, ""Knowing the value and precious gift children can bring to everyone if given the chance, is what drives our goals to provide quality education."

Alki Beach Academy has hired a Lead Supervisor Teacher who is a recent Graduate from the University of Washington. Her degree is in Education and Curriculum Development.

This individual will be in charge of the education & curriculum at the school.

The Academy provides care and education for children ages six weeks to six years they describe as "high-quality child care and educational services to the West Seattle, Alki Beach, Delridge and Beacon Hill communities."

The ABA has a 2000 Square foot outdoor play area and two infant rooms, two toddler rooms, two Preschool / Prekindergarten rooms plus a full kitchen facility with cafeteria style lunch room, computer lab and a specialist teaching room.

Newborn – 11 months: $1,300.00
Daily rate for infants: $70.00
TODDLERS
12 months – 30 months: $1,200.00
Daily rate for toddlers: $65.00
PRESCHOOL / PREKINDERGARTEN
31 months – 6 years: $1,100.00
Daily rate for preschool: $60.00
