West Seattle secured the No. 7 seed from the Metro League into the Sea-King District tournament with Thursday's win at Nathan Hale.
The Wildcats will open Sea-King action this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Seattle Prep in a loser-out game.
DeAndre Love led the West Seattle scorers with 26 points. Ruslan Burduzha added 14 and Nate Prior tossed in 10.

Shorewood Christian of West Seattle took a loss in Thursday's 1B SeaTac League action against Northwest Yeshiva.

After losing to Tyee twice during the regular Seamount League season the Wolverines tripped up the Totems in a Seamount League/South Puget Sound League 2A sub-district tournament game Thursday.
The Wolverines play Fife in their West Central District tournament opener Monday with the action starting at 6:30 p.m. at Curtis High School in University Place.

West Seattle kept its Metro League tournament stay alive with a win at Lakeside in Monday's opener.
Love scored 29 points, Burduzha 16 and Malachi Cain 11.
Bainbridge 55, Chief Sealth 49
Chief Sealth's season ended with Monday's Metro League tournament opening loss at Bainbridge.
Oshae Walker led the Seahawks with 11 points and Samantha Scroggins added eight.
