Healthy Empowered Youth holding Town Hall Meeting May 8

Meet Reina Almon-Miss Washington 2013 and hear her presentation for youth

Healthy Empowered Youth (HEY!) is sponsoring a Town Hall Meeting at Seattle Lutheran High School from 7pm to 9pm on May 8 to address the issue of substance abuse and unite efforts and resources among the private sector, faith communities, government agencies and colleges/universities; to research, understand and, by applying evidence-based tools, together strategize varied and critical opportunities to address the issue.

Those attending will have a chance to meet Reina Almon-Miss Washington 2013 and hear her presentation for youth, learn more about what others are doing about substance abuse in their communities and share your ideas and concerns for our local neighborhoods

The event will include presenters, information booths, representatives of groundbreaking healthy youth organizations, and public and private community partners.

During the event there will be an open mic question and answer session, and an opportunity to share your most compelling issues and or enlightened views.
