West Seattle girls grab win over Garfield

West Seattle got off on the right foot at the Sea-King District girls basketball tournament Tuesday.

The Wildcats grabbed a 64-63 win over old nemesis Garfield at Bellevue College in what was their tournament opener while it was the Bulldogs' second game.

West Seattle will be back in Bellevue for a 3 p.m. game Thursday against an opponent to be determined.
