Susan Woodward

Died October 19th at the age of 86.

She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, John D. Woodward. She is survived by: her daughter, Marta Woodward, of Houston; her daughter, Jean Valentine and husband Tim and daughters Kelley, Nikki, and Holly of San Diego; her son, Jack Woodward and wife Diane and daughter Meredithe and son Sam of Seattle; and her sisters, Florence Banchy and Mary Weiss of Palm Bay.

Born in Czechoslovakia, raised in Ohio, she married John "Woody" Woodward and settled in Los Altos for 43 years to raise a family. Susan was an avid reader, an eloquent speaker and writer, a creative seamstress, knitter and cook. Most of all she was a wife and the best mother of all time. She dedicated herself to serving her family and setting an example of strength, determination, and unconditional love. She will be greatly missed.
