This private nonprofit group promotes economic, community and housing development in the Delridge area. Its purpose is to "engage residents, businesses and institutions in creating and maintaining a thriving Delridge." Part of building Delridge is maintaining an affordable housing market and DNDA has stepped up to the challenge, spearheading the Brandon Court development, which includes the neighborhood's new Delridge Library branch, and as well as pursuing other potential properties for development or preservation. The group is also working to implement other neighborhood planning goals, such as the development of the Longfellow Creek Legacy Trail. DNDA offers an Affordable Housing Resource Center for those interested in purchasing a home or needing down-payment assistance.
