Alki

Alki, with its popular beach reminiscent of Southern California shores, is celebrated as a prized destination throughout Seattle. No other beach in the city matches it for views of Downtown, Elliott Bay and Puget Sound. Gone is the funky array of beach shacks, replaced by condos with multimillion-dollar views. The beach and its adjoining bike trail offer a myriad of recreational opportunities. Visitors come on in-line skates and toting scuba gear, pulled by pooches or pushing strollers.
