Lincoln Park's 135 acres include trails, wading pool, beach access (no lifeguard), Colman Pool, tennis courts, restrooms, five picnic shelters and a multitude of picnic tables. Explore the 5.2 miles of interspersed trails through Parks Department-led natural-history seminars; check out a Shakespeare in the Park performance in the summer or simply head straight for a refreshing dip in the heated saltwater of Colman Pool. The pool, open during summer only, is at the site of a former tidal pool, once a popular swimming hole for West Seattle kids. A newer play area, on the south side of the park, is a favorite for young visitors. There are also two tennis courts and a horseshoe ring in the park, as well as lighted tennis courts in the park's annex across the street.
