Article:	American Legion Grand Parade Proves to be Perennial Fun The American Legion Grand Parade was a big hit in West Seattle on Saturday July 19th as usual. Throngs of parade watchers lined California Avenue to see more than 70 entries pass by. 1st Place float went to Port Orchard who put over 3000 hours into it's construction. Marysville took second place. Entries came from Vancouver and as far away as Calgary, Alberta Canada to be part of the event.
