Lexi loves West Seattle and so does her owner

Tuesday, December 02, 2008

10 year old Lexi just moved here a month ago from Florida with her owner Pat Manns and she loves it. Why?

"She had allergies in Florida and we had to feed her a special diet of venison (deer meat)," explained Pat, "But since she has been here she's been allergy free so now she is on a regular dry dog food diet."

She's a part Chow mix dog and has a very regal attitude. "I'd lost my previous dog and a friend called and said she had a dog for me," said Pat. "At first I said no, because she was so hairy. We looked at her and she was sitting by a swimming pool and looked just like a queen." Pat describes Lexi as, "not very playful but very protective and incredibly loyal."

Lexi lives with Pat and her daughter Cluny Mcafferty and her son Callum. Pat continued, "I like it here too. It's much more laid back and like a small town."
