Healing grief

Come learn more about a six-week program offered by Swedish Hospital that uses classical music and individual imagery expressed on paper to help grieve the death of a loved one. Free.

Baseball camp

July 6 – 10: fielding, July 13 – 17: hitting, July 20 – 24: total baseball, July 24 – 31: advanced hitting. For 8 – 12 year olds, $130 per session. Bring baseball cap, mitt, long pants, water and lunch. Call or come in to register.

Interspiritual children’s class

Sunday mornings, 10 – 11:15 a.m. For ages 3 through 12. Age appropriate values based spiritual education that embraces all faiths and cultures. Learning is through song, story and games. Pre-registration not required. For more info call 783-1618.

Spaghetti dinner

$5/dinner, $2/pie. Bring your family and friends for this delightful dinner. Enjoy spaghetti, garlic bread, salad and good conversation.

Mondays, 7 – 8:45 p.m. $2 for adults, $1 for seniors, kids under 18 free.

Court appointed advocates

Train to become a volunteer advocate for abused and neglected children in court. Must be 21 or older, have excellent references and attend 28 hours of training. For more information call 296-1120 or e-mail


Mondays 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. This class is geared for people 50+. Low impact cardio with strength training and stretching for flexibility. $28 each class for 11 weeks. Call 233-7138 to register for more information.

Circuit training for seniors

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Use multiple weight stations and cardio equipment to get fit. Each class is $35 for 11 weeks. For information call 233-7138.

Parent’s night out

Fridays, 6 – 9 p.m., $15. Ages 2 – 10. We will provide child care for three hours, pizza, and give parents a chance to have some time to themselves. Space is limited, please RSVP.
