Sustainable Ballard Edible Garden Tour

What: This walking or biking tour provides examples of creative uses of parking strips, containers, raised beds, chicken coops, fruit trees, berries, bees and more! Meet the gardeners and ask questions. Be inspired! Check out your neighbors’ gardens. The tour includes a dozen gardens to explore within walking distance of Trinity United Methodist Church and Salmon Bay School. Your ticket includes a map of gardens and one entry into a Raffle of gardening books, supplies & Fiskars tools. Girl Scout Car Wash

West Seattle Girl Scout troop 40766 is having a fundraising car wash at West Seattle Autoworks, 7501 35th Ave. SW (@Webster), 11am to 3pm this Saturday, June 22nd.

Saturday is supposed to be beautiful and the girls are looking forward to a terrific day of washing cars. Please come by and show the girls your support!

Sealth All School Reunion July 13

All Alumni & Staff are invited to attend an all school reunion. The event will begin in the Commons (adjacent to the main office, the old ASB lounge). You will then be able to take a self guided walking tour to select open areas. Everyone will meet again in the Galleria (built in the courtyard previously located between the main school building and the gym) for talking time, refreshments, and class pictures. Story Time with Seattle Firefighters @ Ballard Branch Library

What: The Seattle Fire Department is partnering with the Seattle Public Libraries for a reading program aimed at increasing literacy, and raising awareness of home fire safety. Firefighters will read the book No Dragons for Tea to preschool children from all around the city.
