Morgan Community Association meeting April 16

Morgan Community Association (MoCA) will hold its next quarterly meeting on Wednesday, April 16, 2014.

The meeting will be held at The Kenney, located at 7125 Fauntleroy Way SW, and it begins at 7:00pm.

Please join us for updates on neighborhood topics of interest, and learn about the changes coming for the 2014 Morgan Junction Community Festival!!

Work party at Ballard Corners Park

Please join us for a work party at Ballard Corners Park (17th Ave NW & NW 63rd Street) on Saturday, March 29th from 9am-2pm, rain or shine.

We'll be preparing plants for spring, weeding, spreading wood chip mulch, and cleaning up debris. Many hands make light (and lighthearted!) work! Some tools and refreshments will be provided. West Seattle Hi-Yu Spring Tea and Silent Auction

Join us for Tea at the West Seattle Hi-Yu Spring Tea and Silent Auction on Sunday, May 18th from 2-5pm at the Hall at Fauntleroy.

Enjoy great tea, company and delicious food provided by caterers and businesses in our community as well as a fun silent auction to help raise funds for our scholarship program and building the float the represents West Seattle in parades throughout the Puget Sound. 1st Day of Spring at Community Orchard of West Seattle!

Celebrate the 1st day of spring at the Community Orchard of West Seattle. Spring arrives at 9:46 Thursday morning and Health and Harvest at the Community Orchard is from 5pm to 7pm. We will be demonstrating blueberry bush and fruit tree pruning. Healthy activities with a Harvest of spring tonic greens.

The orchard is located just east of the north parking lot at South Seattle Community College at 6000 16th Ave S.W.

2nd Annual Roxhill Family Dinner

White Center Community Center is having their 2nd Annual Family Dinner Fundraising Event for Roxhill Elementary. Come and have some fun! Catch up with old friends and make some new ones, get your picture taken at the photo booth with your family and friends. All proceeds will help support programs for Roxhill students.

Admiral Neighborhood Adopt a Street event March 8

Saturday, March 8th is the first Adopt-A-Street event of the year in the Admiral District.
Get together to clean up the neighborhood and make it better for everyone.

Please meet Jim and Dave at Metropolitan Market starting at 9:00 am.

As always beverages, refreshments and sack lunches are provided as well as gloves and tools.
