Parks Legacy Community Meeting @ Highpoint Jan. 25

Parks Legacy Community Meetings - Seattle Parks and Recreation will host three community meetings in January to get feedback on the work done by the Parks Legacy Citizens’ Advisory Committee in preparation for a potential 2014 park and recreation funding ballot measure. There could be major changes in parks funding and management under the final Legacy Plan.

NHUAC Meeting is Thursday, Jan 9

Please plan on joining the North Highline Unincorporated Area Council (NHUAC) on Thursday, January 9 at 6:30pm for a very informative community meeting. King County Metro will have representatives on hand starting at 6:30pm to furnish information and answer questions regarding proposed transit cuts. We are also pleased to have a representative from the newly formed West Seattle Transportation Coalition, who will provide information on their efforts to advance and improve all transportation modes to benefit the West Seattle Peninsula.  read more »
