Auto thieves and car prowlers are the topic of the day!
And, our guest will be Seattle Police Detective Scotty Bach, who has apprehended many of these people. He’ll give us an in-depth look into who is doing it, why they’re doing it, and most importantly, what we can do to lessen our chances of being one of their victims. Earth Day:Rethink Reuse Installation on Alki

Value Village wants you, your family, kids and friends to join them at Alki Beach for an installation that encourages everyone to take action to prevent landfills from becoming laundry piles.

What: An interactive installation using thousands of pieces of used clothing to represent the amount of clothing that ends up in the landfill, instead of being reused or recycled.

When: Friday, April 22

Our special guest will be Lisa Herbold, District 1 Councilmember; she represents the neighborhoods of West Seattle and South Park on the Seattle City Council.

This is an opportunity for us to hear from Lisa — how she views the issues of most concern to Block Watch Captains. Most importantly, it’s an opportunity for us to share our concerns as Block Watch Captains with Lisa.
