DEA Drug Take Back day- SW Seattle Police Precinct Apr. 26

The Seattle Police Department will participate in the DEA Drug Take Back day this Saturday, April 26th. The public can drop off their unused medication at the Southwest precinct located at 2300 S. W. Webster St. from hours of 10 am to 2 pm. We will not ask to see or check what they are putting in the box. Any type of medication is fine.

Earth Day Run on Alki April 19

Saturday, April 19
Earth Day Run: 9:30 – 11 a.m.
Alki Avenue SW – West Seattle

1,100 participants

Run route: Starts on Alki Avenue SW at 60th Avenue SW; moves east on Alki to Anchor Park (1100 Alki Avenue SW), makes a U-turn and heads back to starting point.
Run will close Alki Avenue SW from 60th Avenue SW to Anchor Park from 9 – 11 a.m.
Expect heavier traffic on streets next to Alki Avenue SW

Residents and friends of the West Seattle Junction are invited to take part in a morning Clean Up at the WS Junction Plaza Park on Saturday, April 26th! Please DO save the date. Kids and pooches welcome!!!

Our group will meet up at the park on SW 42nd & Alaska at 9:00am 4/26 Saturday morning.
