Medical and Recreational Marijuana
We will present a panel that will discuss the future role of the medical marijuana industry in the new reality of a legal distribution system for recreational marijuana. The panel will include Rep. Eileen Cody, King County Councilmember Joe McDermott, Seattle City Attorney Pete Holmes, and Liquor Control Board chair Sharon Foster. The Green Committee at Fauntleroy Church will host its spring Recycle Roundup on Sunday, April 27, 9 am - 3 pm in the church parking lot (9140 California Ave. SW). Work party at Ballard Corners Park

Please join us for a work party at Ballard Corners Park (17th Ave NW & NW 63rd Street) on Saturday, March 29th from 9am-2pm, rain or shine.

We'll be preparing plants for spring, weeding, spreading wood chip mulch, and cleaning up debris. Many hands make light (and lighthearted!) work! Some tools and refreshments will be provided. Enjoy great tea, company and delicious food provided by caterers and businesses in our community as well as a fun silent auction to help raise funds for our scholarship program and building the float the represents West Seattle in parades throughout the Puget Sound.
