Southwest Precinct Picnic at the Precinct

All southwest precinct residents are invited to come and celebrate your community.
The event will feature Live Music, Free Food and gives you a chance to get to know the officers and people who
protect us every day in West Seattle.

Part of the Port 101 series. Homeport for the North Pacific Fishing Fleet, Fishermen’s Terminal is surrounded by Seattle’s maritime industrial core. It is responsible for 4,000 local jobs, providing family-wage jobs and contributing to our local economy. This commercial fishing generates $404 million in wages and salaries, $196 million in business revenue, and more than $37 million in state and local taxes. Sustainable West Seattle Annual Potluck with Longboards and Electric Bikes!

Join SWS for our Annual Summer Potluck – at Lincoln Park.

We’ll set up the grill and provide condiments. Please bring your favorite summertime dish and your own cup, utensils & plates.

Alki Kayak/Mountain 2 Sound will provide kayaks and longboards and Alki Bike & Board will bring electric bikes for demo and play!

August 23-27, 2010 Summer Bridge is for all incoming 9th graders to Chief Sealth High School, and all are strongly encouraged to attend. (Why wouldn't you, right???) During our time from 8:30-11:30, you'll learn High School 101: All that you need to be successful at Sealth!

A 22-block long street party in Phinney Ridge and Greenwood. Greenwood Avenue is being opened up from 65th Street to 87th Street so pedestrians and bicyclists can come out to play and explore local businesses. This event builds on the monthly art walk, Art Up. It offers residents a cheap way to do family activities and reconnect with neighbors. It is also a chance for businesses to showcase products or services.
