White Center South Delridge Community Safety Coalition meeting
Thursday, October 27 · 6:00pm - 7:30pm
St James Church, 9421 18th Ave S.W., Seattle, WA
Come celebrate with us! This Safety meeting will be dedicated to thanking everyone that has helped stop the drug activity in the White Center area. Food, friends and updates on what we will be doing next year. ALL ARE INVITED!
It’s all FREE – with the carnival open to kids 12 and under 5-7 pm, teens 13-19 from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Come dressed in your “scariest creative costume” – there’ll be prizes. And if you bring a few $, there’ll be concessions (hot dogs, nachos, more) to raise money for teen programs.
And in the middle of all this, it’s a Halloween Family Swim 7-8 pm, with games, a penny dive, and bobbing for apples. (Everyone under 18 has to have an adult in the water with them.) P.S. Teen volunteers are needed 4-7:30 pm for the kids’ carnival; sign up at the SW Teen Life Center.
Furry Faces Foundation invites area residents to dress up their pets for a very special photo shoot that will help raise awareness of the importance pets play the lives of the elderly, even after they can no longer afford to take care of them. The first-annual Howl-o-Ween Pet Costume Photo Shoot will take place from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, October, 31, 2011 at The Wash Dog. There is no charge for the session, but either a bag of healthy pet food or a $5 donation to the Furry Faces Foundation is suggested.
