Future of Duwamish River Community Forum

Sustainable West Seattle, a nonprofit organization “that educates and advocates for urban sustainability in our local community”, will host a community forum on Oct. 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. to discuss the past, present and future of the Duwamish River.

The forum will be held at Camp Long 5200 35th Ave s.w. and a long list of individuals involved in the river’s cleanup efforts will speak.  read more »

Trick or Treat Photographs at Hotwire!

Hotwire Coffee is sponsoring Trick or Treat Photographs again this year on Saturday, October 30th from 12:00 p.m.to 4:00 p.m. in the Hotwire Courtyard at 4410 California Ave. s.w.

You can get your photo (or you with a friend, partner or other) taken by a professional photographer, Stephanie Cristalli at the event and they are urging you to "Bring your goblins and princesses to the Hotwire courtyard during Trick or Treat in the Junction".  read more »

Everyone in the family is invited to join in on an evening of fun! Kids will enjoy a variety of frightfully fun skill challenging games and activities. This event is created in a way that provides thrills without unnecessary fright for walking toddlers and up to 11 years old. If able, we request a donation of one non-perishable food item to be donated to the West Seattle Food Bank.
