'Arranged' at Interfaith Community Church

The Islamic Educational Center of Seattle, Bet Alef Meditative Synagogue, and Interfaith Community Church are partnering to bring you an evening of deepening friendships through film and dialogue.

The film "Arranged" centers on the friendship between an Orthodox Jewish woman and a Muslim woman who meet as first-year teachers at a public school in Brooklyn.

Following the viewing, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss their thoughts and feelings about the film and issues surrounding this important topic.

Sunset Substation Public Meeting

Community Meeting number two to introduce our design consultants, headed by CAST architecture, and establish a vision statement for the project, flesh out ideas generated at our December kick-off meeting and develop concepts for community use of the surplus substation at 3209 N.W. 65th St. To date, the leading concept is a multi-use space with a solar array over a neighborhood gathering space, but other ideas and input are welcome.
