Easter-Themed Organ Concert


Richard Lind will be perform an Easter-themed organ concert with selected works by Tournemire, Wider, Dandrieu, Bach and Vierne. Lind, music director and organist, has been at Northminster since 2003. He is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Music, where he earned his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in organ performance as a student of Clyde Holloway. He has been an active recitalist, both as soloist and accompanist and is also on the music staff at Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in Bellevue.

BHS Music Alumni Concert

The third bi-annual Ballard High School Music Alumni Concert is always an exciting event and an evening to remember, as current BHS music students perform side by side with BHS musicians from the past six decades to raise funds to support the music program at Ballard High School. The Ballard High School Foundation started this event in 2006, raising more than $15,000. In 2008, the bar was raised a few thousand more. Ballard Rocks and Rolls

Storm Weather Shanty Choir

All the way from Norway, the Storm Weather Shanty Choir will be playing an in-store set in The Field House prior to their show at the Tractor that same night. Storm Weather Shanty Choir consists of six singers and musicians with backgrounds ranging from rock, pop (guitar player from Magnet (N) and William Hut (N), Roald Kaldestad), metal and folk, and for credibility's sake, a sailor/shanty man who has sailed for many seasons aboard the tall ship SS Statsraad Lehmkuhl who also has a masters degree on shanties and sea-songs.
