Visual arts

Art vendors, food vendors and a music stage plus other performing arts are all part of the Alki Art Fair July 23, from 10:00 am to 6:00pm. More than 75 vendors are expected to take part.

2011 is a special year due to the centennial celebration of the Alki Bathhouse (1911 – 2011). A quick trip inside the bathhouse will reveal historical displays.

From Alki to Endolyne the West Seattle Art Walk is brought to you by your local West Seattle merchants. Over 60 merchants in the West Seattle Junction, Alki Beach, Admiral District, Morgan Junction, Fauntleroy District and Delridge, displaying art and showcasing artists every second Thursday from 6pm to 9pm.

The West Seattle art walk is a monthly art event that is held the second Thursday of each month 6pm to 9pm year-round. The art walk is hosted by the local West Seattle merchants who feature a wide range of art and showcase our vibrant artist community.

Noted West Seattle photographer will be displaying her remarkable photos of mushrooms and fungi for one night only at Alki Arts from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

This is not a show to be missed. Large prints of images that are genuinely amazing and more impressive still is that many of them were shot here in West Seattle. Spence's work has been feature in national publications and is under consideration for the National Geographic.
