The Showing from the BHS Video Production Program

Everyone is invited to a screening of videos produced second semester by students in the Ballard High School Video Production Program. "The Showing" will included short comedies, dramas and documentaries, some recently honored by the National Association of Television Arts & Sciences as well as film festivals such as the Northwest High School Film Festival and the national high school film and video festival hosted by Temple University in Philadelphia . Tickets will not be sold, but there is a suggested donation of $5. All proceeds benefit the Video Production Program. Arrive early!  read more »

Recycled Art Show Opening

The Ninth Annual Recycled Art Show kicks off during the Ballard Artwalk. Artists tap into the waste stream to craft stunning sculpture, mixed media and functional works of art. Artwork displayed at this juried exhibition is composed of at least 75 percent materials diverted from disposal. Get a first glimpse at selected art and enjoy a reception with the artists on opening night. The Recycled Art Show runs through May 5.
