Page Turner: Contemporary Artist Books exhibit.

A national invitational showcasing original handmade artist books from 18
nationally known and emerging artists, curated by Kelda Martensen. The two
week exhibit is a tribute to the time-honored visual form of the handmade
artist book. A complete listing of artist biographies and images of selected

The Showing at Ballard High School

Everyone is invited to "The Showing," a screening of new work by students in the Ballard High School Video Production Program in the Ballard High School auditorium.

Included will be news features, advertisements and short comedies and dramas.

Admission is free, but there is a suggested $5 donation. Be sure to arrive early. Prior screenings have filled the auditorium and people have been turned away.

Greenwood Art Walk

The monthly art walk offers friends and neighbors an evening where they can shop works from local Northwest artists, explore great food in the Greenwood-Phinney community and support local young people through different community giving programs throughout the year.

Wellness Checks
Wednesdays (third and fourth weeks of the month) 11 a.m. -1 p.m. An RN will be at the Center to check blood pressure, answer questions and discuss medications with you. Come see her this week and bring your questions.

Foot Care
Thursday's. By appointment only. $20 for members, $25 for non-members. Bring a towel, and Echo will provide you with great foot care to meet your needs.

Drawing and Painting Class
Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Taught by artist Susan Schneider. $10 per class. All levels welcome from beginners on. Come check this out and develop your artist side.  read more »

Glass blowing summer camp

9 a.m. – 1 p.m. or 2 – 6 p.m. For kids ages 10 – 16. Learn the art of glass blowing by making sun catchers, cups, bowls, paperweights and more. Maximum of 6 students per class, please call to RSVP.
