Amanda Knox Appeal Fund Benefit
Seattle’s funniest headliners hit the stage
for the Amanda Knox Appeal Fund Benefit
A fundraiser for Amanda Knox, whose recent trial in Italy for the murder of her roommate ended in her conviction, will take place Wednesday, Jan. 27, 8:00 pm- 10:00 pm, at the Comedy Underground in Pioneer Square.
Six professional comics will perform for free, including Renee Perrault, also the MC.
Susan Jones brings her literally larger than life attitude to the stage in her flirty stage performance. She has been touring the country with her comedy tour called "too fat too furious." Susan is originally from Puyallup, WA and spent most of her life as on air DJ. She has found humor for her act in day to day life activities centered around raising her rock and roll son.
Geoff Lott Stand –up Comedian, writer, raconteur. His humor is personally observational, publicly shaming and emotionally profitable. He loves his wife, his life and dark chocolate.
Billy Wayne Davis is the thinking man’s hillbilly, with a combination of subtle, disarming intelligence and the rare ability to win over every kind of comedy audience imaginable. After making a name for himself in his homeland of Nashville, TN, he has gone on to perform in virtually every corner of the United States, from the Deep South to the “alternative comedy” hotbed of Seattle, WA, which he now calls home. Billy Wayne’s comedy really has no discernable category. He can be personal, shocking, political and absurd, but his ability to form an instant connection with audiences allows him to get away with anything and everything.
Also appearing are: Renee Perrault, Xung Lam and John Gardner.
Tickets are $50.
