Westside Baby Tea Feb. 9

February 9, 2014

Hilton Airport Hotel & Conference Center
17620 International Blvd
Seattle, WA

This year we are excited to introduce a few new twists to this event such as a tea "bouquet" contest as well as give away some fabulous prizes including two round-trip tickets donated by Alaska Airlines! Of course this Tuscan-style afternoon tea will include delicious food, Mimosas, fun prizes and a community impact like no other.

The Tea supports WestSide Baby operations and programs, allowing us to serve more local children with critical items to keep them safe, warm and dry. Guests are asked to give in support of our mission to provide essentials to local children in need.

Joanne Samuel Goldblum is our Keynote Speaker. Ms. Goldblum is a national leader raising awareness of childhood poverty and the ways that small things, such as diapers, impact big things.

She is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post and offers a unique perspective on the shrinking national safety net for our children as both a social work and innovative leader with direct experience starting a national movement increasing diaper need awareness.

She established and serves as the Executive Director of the National Diaper Bank Network and previously founded The Connecticut Diaper Bank in 2006. In 2007, Joanne was chosen as Robert Wood Johnson Community Health Leader.
