Seattle police detectives in the Force Investigation Team are investigating after an SPD officer shot a person outside of the Southwest Precinct building this afternoon.

Mayor Bruce Harrell paid a visit to the Delridge Community Center on March 19 to announce that the city is entering into a Memorandum of Understanding to provide space at the Southwest Precinct for CARE team members.

A Waste Management truck went over on its side at the corner of 46th SW and Marine View Drive on Tuesday afternoon. It wasn't immediately clear how it happened, but the driver and assistant was not injured in the incident.

The Seattle Police Department is sponsoring a Community Resource Fair on Saturday, March 22, from 11 AM to 3 PM1. The event will take place at 2600 SW Barton Street, Suite A-1 (in the former Spirit Halloween - Bed Bath and Beyond location).
